It's Pumpkin Time!

Hi everyone! Sorry it has been a while since I posted anything but as usual....we have been busy. Emma Kate is still crawling everywhere and goes so fast. She is pulling up and cruising the furniture like a pro. She has even stood by herself (not holding onto anything) a few times. Walking is going to happen soon.

Emma Kate and I took a trip to Nashville to visit with Uncle Doug, Aunt Erica and Cousin Katie. We left daddy at home to work and I was so nervous about making the trip by myself and how Emma Kate would do. Well, she did great! She was happy for the drive there, slept fine in the pack & play and did not fuss too much on the drive back home. She really enjoyed spending time with everyone and she loved showing off all her skills and toys.

Erica, Katie, Emma Kate and I went to a nearby church and picked out some pumpkins. Emma Kate was not too sure about these big orange things! We took a few pictures and here they are. Enjoy!

Several weeks ago, we went to the North Georgia State Fair. I took Emma Kate on the carousel ride and she really enjoyed it. Here is a picture of that.

Busy as a bee!

Okay, so I said I would post some videos and I will. I will also post some different pictures I have taken recently. What is new in our house? Emma Kate turned 10 months on September 28th; she is crawling all over the place, she loves to pull up on the furniture and cruise, and she said "dada" yesterday. How cool is that? We have been working on the "dada" for quite a while now. She will say "ma" but not always "mama". That seems harder for her to day and she seems to really concentrate while saying it. But the "dada" she will just say with ease, finally. We had another pediatrician visit this week and Emma Kate is now 18 pounds. She is growing like a weed and busy as a bee!
