Missed by one day

Well, the news is that families are currently being matched with children and the CCAA (Chinese Government) has matched families with log-in dates through April 17, 2006. This means that for April 2010, families who have log-in dates from April 11th to April 17th, 2006 will receive their referrals. Although the date does not include us, we know that WE WILL BE NEXT!!! Our log-in date is April 18, 2006. We should receive our referral sometime in early May. This would mean we would travel to China most likely in July. We have waited for so long but I have a feeling that waiting this last month for our referral and then waiting to travel will prove to be the most difficult. Anyway, this is GREAT news and we are really happy! Thanks to everyone for their good wishes and prayers for us. We can't wait to introduce our Emma to you all!

6 More Days Matched

Well, this month we have learned that 6 days were matched bringing the referrals up to and including April 11th. Now there are only 7 days until our log in date of April 18th. We are really hoping that we will get our referral in April or May. We would then travel sometime in the summer (probably June or July) to go and get her. It is getting exciting being this close. March will be a busy month for us so hopefully it will go by fast and we can get to April and see where we are in line. Thanks everyone for your continued love and support! That means the world to us.
